CWO Freestyle/Greco Training Sessions (2017)
The week of April 3rd, the CWO will officially transition from Folkstyle wrestling to Freestyle / Greco styles of wrestling.
Our goal is to introduce Freestyle and Greco styles of wrestling to our beginners and reinforce techniques for those who have participated in the past. Our ultimate goal is to train those who may be interested in competing in a few tournaments with a focus on the Nebraska USA Wresting State Freestyle / Greco Tournament on May 6th in Kearney, NE.
The CWO Freestyle / Greco session will be 10 sessions on Monday’s and Thursday’s from 6:30 – 8:00 p.m. in the new Columbus High School wrestling room starting on Monday, April 3rd and running through Thursday, May 4th.
All current CWO Wrestling Team members are able to attend these sessions at no cost.
For any non-CWO Wrestling Team members, you may join the CWO and attend these sessions for a minimal fee of $25. Non-CWO wrestlers must also have a current USA Wrestling Insurance Card which must be presented at the first practice attended.
